While Park, Kim Do-Ju and Yeom discuss their position and assure that the separation won't be a problem, Jang Uk and Buyeon kiss after breaking down the barriers they had in front of them. However, when Bu Yeon senses the Ice Stone's energy on Jang Uk, their heated exchange between them comes to an abrupt end.

This reminds them of the situation they will soon find themselves in, and he begins planning how to deal with Jin Ho Kyung for breaking the promise. Jang Uk assures Bu Yeon that she will sincerely beg Ho-Kyung to grant her request and get her out of her predicament.

As the two strategize to win Ho Kyung over to their romance, Seo Yul assumes her intentions as well. Bu-Yeon instructs Jang Uk to take care of himself and every now and then enter Jinyowon and find them after sending them on their respective paths.

Alchemy of Souls T2 Episode 9 Summary

Now he thinks back to the first time and asks her about her impression of her. She says that the moment she saw him she realized he was her husband and contradicted her assertion that he found her unusual.

This statement stirs emotions in Jang Uk and Bu Yeon. He describes to her the soul-altering blue mark that once appeared in Mu's eyes. Seo Yul states elsewhere that he is willing to take responsibility for what happened and will break the agreement between Jang Uk and Ho-Kyung.

The news spreads quickly, so Jang Uk is amused by Seo Yul's reassuring words as Bu Yeon rushes over to her. She is shocked by Seo Yul's behavior when he warns her that continuing to work with Jung Uk will only make them both unhappy.

He advises her to visit Danhyanggok because it will refresh her memory of what happened there and help her understand why she should avoid Jang Uk. Bu Yeon is determined not to go there or try to restore her memory after learning this.

The heir to the throne sends his golden plaque to Jang Uk, telling him that he has been informed of Jang Uk's arrival, and Jang Uk receives it. Bu-Yeon finds him while preparing to go to a castle and notices the scar where he was killed earlier.

She knows he was curious about Naksu's thoughts when he gave her the scars, but Bu Yeon wishes she'd never seen that memory. Noticing that her mood is deteriorating, he offers to take him to Danhyanggok, but she declines.

Ultimately, he tells her to wait for his return, which comforts her. Elsewhere, Heo Yoon-ok discovers the drug that can identify the marks of a soulwalker and is ready to confront Bu-Yeon with reality.

Seo Yul from both sides approaches Ho Kyung and informs him that he knows who Bu Yeon is. In order to prevent Naksu's spirit from disappearing and the real Jin Bu-Yeon taking over her flesh, he asks her to make Bu Yeon as independent as possible.

Ho-Kyung is shocked that Master Lee hid it from him; now that she knows that, she is ready to accept Seo Yul's request. Meanwhile, the heir to the throne interrogates Jang Uk about his identity and orders him to travel to the Northern Fortress if he chooses not to participate in battle.

Jin Mu is surprised when Jang Uk decides to grant his request and assume the role of commander in the Northern Citadel, but he is also pleased with the Crown Prince's strategy.

Yoon-ok also asks Bu Yeon to join her at Soulwalker's Tomb, where she throws the medicine at him and looks for the Soulwalker's mark on his neck. But when he looks around, he finds nothing, and even some of the medicine splashes into her eyes, leaving a bruise.

However, Seo Yul arrives and pauses as he orders Bu Yeon to clean up the drug before Yoon Ok sees her. He then warns Yoon-ok not to interfere as Naksu's spirit is about to disappear. Bu-Yeon notices the image of her in the creek and the bruise on her eyelids as she rinses off the eye medicine.

She remembers Jang Uk's comments as a wave of memories wash over her, revealing her true identity and prompting her to travel to Danhyanggok. He finally arrives at the big tree he always remembered, and discovers that all the experiences he once thought belonged to someone else would be his for the rest of time, as memory returns.

The scene suddenly brightens and she doesn't see anyone but the real Jin Bu Yeon sitting next to her. Naksu learns from Bu Yyeon that she has been using her abilities all along to regain her godly abilities and stop her mind from going insane.

Naksu thanks him for his abilities, but soon has to leave his body because Jin Bu-Yeon is the rightful owner. She must face the harsh reality that after finally remembering who she is, Naksu, she only has a limited amount of time in this world.

Seo Yul notices her at Chwiseonru as she sits there and reflects on the time when Jang Uk hired her three years ago and asks Joo Wol to let Jang Uk know. As Jang tells Uk Naksu that he has been looking everywhere for Chwiseon, he quickly realizes that something is wrong. He then goes to Chwiseonru.

Naksu informs him that he has regained his memory and that he will return to Jinyowon as he cannot be with him. Jang Uk resists this change. He tries to stop him, but to no avail, as she tells him that she has a very special love for a man and cannot let him go.

Ho-Kyung and Cho-Yeon are shocked when Naksu returns to Jinyow, and Jang Uk is shocked by what happened between them. The couple then sinks into the fear of separation, but Jang Uk cannot understand why and Naksu is unable to face him due to his past actions and knowledge of what the future will bring.

Despite Jang Uk knocking on Jinyowon's door, Naksu refuses to see him as he cannot say goodbye to him before leaving. When she returns, she finds him waiting in his room and is forced to answer his questions, revealing her despair at his decision.

Unable to control his emotions as he leaves, Naksu tells her he will either wait until she fails or call him while she waits. He leaves for the North Keep the next day when everyone says goodbye to him. Seo Yul is forced to tell him the truth, but is repulsed by Master Lee's warning that Jang Uk would only suffer because he can keep Naksu's soul alive in Jin's Bu body.

Jeon will not be able to use his abilities to save her, as this is an illegal form of witchcraft. Jin Mu is ready to begin preparations after Jang Uk leaves, so he enlists the Crown Prince's help in transporting the pottery to Daeho. But he says that Jinyowon's Hellcat is targeting him and that he will soon subdue it with the help of the Clear Majority Assembly.

Jin Mu soon confronts Jin Ho Kyung, informing him that Jinyowon does not have a priest strong enough to perform the water rites. instead, someone else will dance. Ho-Kyung finds this absurd and claims that Jinyowon wouldn't offer any artifacts for the ceremonies if he did, but this only makes Jin Mu laugh.

Then, as seen in the video, Ho Kyung informs her that Jinyowon has a plaque that grants them the power to disobey an order from the royal family. Jin Mu informs him that the plates will soon be confiscated because he put Jinyowon in danger for personal reasons.

The heir to the throne then appears and says he is witness to this statement because expanding the Firebird Wall puts us all in danger. Jinyowon was already tasked with delivering the tablet to Cheonbuan, but Naksu takes responsibility after Cho Yeon.

He quickly transports the pills to Cheonbuan, where he learns what's going on. She steps forward after seeing Jin push Mu Ho-Kyung over the edge and tells him that Jinyowon has a priest who can help her. Even so, Mu doesn't think she's serious and encourages her to show herself. Nokia agrees and is sent to prison for ghosts in Cheonbugwan.

Jin Mu informs him that he must obtain the plates from this place to prove his divine abilities. Ho-Kyung fears for her, but when Naksu encourages her to trust her daughter's supernatural abilities, she finds herself looking up to Naksu.

After entering the prison of enchantment, Naksu appears on the beach with forests in front of him. She is startled by the size of the place and, despite her doubts, quickly leaves in search of the sign. However, he soon comes across a sign and while trying to escape from it, he unconsciously calls out to Jang Uk through the blue emerald.
