However, arguably the most influential antagonist in the series was the terrorist organization known as the Akatsuki. Composed of powerful rogue ninja bent on destroying the ninja world, Akatsuki was a fan favorite. Despite their popularity, several members' backgrounds are mysterious, including their ages.

12 Hidan was 22 when he was last seen, and as the second youngest member, he was probably 20 when he joined.

9 Kisame Hoshigaki was 29 years old when he was introduced and died at the age of 32.
Kisame Hoshigaki, one of the legendary Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, was a force to be reckoned with. Due to the large amount of chakra he possessed, he was often called "the tailless beast".
Kisame used this advantage to repeatedly summon huge masses of water to overwhelm his opponent.and his sword, Samehada, could drain the chakra of any ninja. Fans of the show are not sure how old Kisame was when he joined Akatsuki. However, the ninja was 29 years old when he was first introduced and died at the age of 32.
8 Itachi Uchiha joined the Akatsuki at the age of 14 and died at the age of 21 during his fight with Sasuke.
