According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, there are 5 faceliftsLabelThe most common cosmetic surgery in the United States. Anyone considering a facelift should seek out an experienced, board-certified surgeon who can achieve a fresh, youthful appearance. In Scottsdale, Arizona, Dr. Holden successfully performs numerous cosmetic procedures each year. People with aging and mature facial skin may choose to undergo a facelift (also called a rhytidectomy) to treat sagging facial features, sagging skin, and wrinkles. dr. “Facelift at 62 so worth it! – I am 62 years old and have always had a weak jaw. I have wanted to have cosmetic surgery for decades. I hate my profile. I try so hard to take pictures to hide that, but that's all I see. I never wear turtlenecks, neckerchiefs, or chokers because I think they accentuate the least favorite parts of my face. I have been using fillers and botox for at least 10 years and…”

“Eye and Facelift – After much research, I interviewed three leading doctors. My biggest concern is that I look natural. I also have some asymmetries that I hope I can improve. I am now 9 months old. Could not be happier." after surgery. Everyone talks about how young I look, but no one knows that I've had plastic surgery, not even my daughters. I want natural eyes, not a horse's head in the light. My eyes look..."

"Highly Skilled Surgeon - Dr. Holden was fantastic from start to finish. He is an experienced and talented surgeon. He performed the lower facelift with my neck lift and I really liked my results. The only thing I can say is negative...No I knew how long the recovery process would take. Trust me, it's a "bumpy" recovery process, in my opinion.Dr Holden, with your help!

"A beautiful new contour!! – I had my rhinoplasty with Dr. Kybella and Holden and I am very happy. My contour looks great with no double chin and a new nose. I trust him completely. He is very patient, like he is a nurse, friendly at all times. You were so kind! I plan to go back to him for a face lift in the future. Many other surgeons work on the face and body, but he has a…"

Surgical technique

Today different techniques are used in facelifts. The patient's facial anatomy, sagging skin, and overall cosmetic goals will determine the best approach. Each operation is unique to the patient and depends on the type and location of the incision, the number of layers of tissue involved, the altitude, and the degree of invasion.

(Video) Liposuction and Breast Lift with Implants

Traditional Facelift (SMAS)

This SMAS facelift is considered the gold standard. Although this procedure is more complicated, it produces more dramatic and long-lasting results. This technique consists of manipulating a group of muscles under the skin called the superficial muscular aponeurotic system (SMAS). These muscles control facial expression. Make an incision along the hairline from the temple to behind the earlobe. Then separate and lift the skin. The underlying muscles and tissues are tightened and fixed to maintain their new position.

Top Ponytail Facelift

The ponytail lift is a unique facelift invented by Dr. Holden that is designed to treat loose, thick skin on the forehead, around the eyes, and around the cheeks. Through invisible incisions in the scalp, the skin on the forehead, eyes and cheeks is loosened and repositioned up and back. To permanently fix the tissue, sutures are placed under the scalp. The result is eyes, brows, and cheeks that appear progressively lighter, rising to the cheekbones. This technique is suitable for people in their 40s and 50s who would rather maintain a youthful appearance than wait until a full facelift is required.

deep elevation

The Deep Plane Lift goes one step further than traditional methods. It is best suited for those with flab and severe flab, usually reserved for elderly patients. In addition to optimizing the SMAS layer, deeper sections, so-called deep planes, are also processed. Although this procedure offers certain advantages over traditional cosmetic surgery, the surgeon must be skilled and use caution to avoid damaging the facial nerve during the procedure.

Mini-facelift

A mini facelift is for patients who want some of the benefits of a facelift while minimizing the cost and invasiveness of the procedure. Some programs that qualify as "mini" include "quicklift" or "lifestyle lift." Patients who want to maximize the results of their surgery and achieve the most dramatic results will likely require a full facelift to achieve these cosmetic goals.

during/after operation

All cosmetic procedures are performed in our surgical center under MAC (Monitored Anesthesia Care) sedation. The duration of the operation varies, but is usually 3 to 4 hours. This operation is an outpatient procedure. After the procedure, patients experience bruising and swelling, as well as a feeling of tightness in the face and neck. This will gradually improve over a few days. Patients often worry about their facial appearance. Most patients feel comfortable socially or professionally 10-14 days after surgery and usually wear concealer. Patients (Scottsdale Facelift) should understand that it may take several months for definitive results to be seen.

Kosmetik-FAQ

Non-surgical alternatives?

BOTOX®, injectable fillers, microdermabrasion, and chemical peels are a few examples of non-surgical procedures that can help smooth wrinkles, improve fine lines, and add volume to the face. These procedures also help to even out the skin tone. However, these treatments only affect the surface of the skin. Patients with loose skin, a drooping chin, or a drooping neck should consider surgery if they want to improve these features.

Will I look bad?

In the days after cosmetic surgery, patients feel tightness and tightness. These are some short-term effects, but they will go away. It is important to find a reputable surgeon who is knowledgeable in facial surgery. Surgeons who know what they're doing do their best to work within the limits of the patient's bone, skin, and muscle structure to achieve a more youthful, natural appearance.

¿Visible scars?

Cosmetic surgery requires very long incisions. However, in almost all cases these scars are well concealed as they are located just around the hairline and ears in the natural folds of the scalp. In most cases, the scars are barely visible to the naked eye.

best age?

The usual age range of patients who undergo cosmetic surgery is between 50 and 70 years. It is safe to say that most patients look 5-10 years younger after cosmetic surgery. Younger patients (40-50 years old) tend to have more elastic skin, so their results may last longer than older patients. However, the results can be more dramatic in older patients, for whom it may well be worth it. Patients should view facelifts as an age reversal of aging. You're still getting older, but you look years younger.
